On the Program

1. Is this World Wide Reunion for both MCS and MSS alumnae?

Yes, indeed. The Maryknoll Sisters are especially thrilled. Like Sister Rose Duchesne said three years ago at the 6th WWR, "I can see real unity between the two schools for the first time during my lifetime". Many of the Maryknoll Sisters taught in both schools are expected to attend.


2. What is the registration deadline?

Overwhelming subscription is anticipated as we have a global audience pondering the same hundred some tables at the Gala Dinner. Seats are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis with preferential treatment for bookings by tables. It is highly recommended to register earliest possible to avoid disappointment.


3. Do I have to attend all the activities?

Having the WWR in Hong Kong is a rare opportunity and we would love to see everyone in all of the activities, though it is not a requirement.


4. Will transportation be provided for the Homecoming visits?

Transportation will not be provided.


5. Is parking available at both schools?

Parking is not available at either schools.

On the Gala Dinner

1. I only want to join the Gala Dinner. Is there a Dinner-only price?

The WWR package includes the Homecoming, the Mass and the Gala Dinner and we encourage everyone to enjoy the entire experience. There is no partial price of the program.


2. What is the seating arrangement?

Seats are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis with preferential treatment for bookings by tables.
Please note that registration will only be processed upon confirmation of full payment.


3. Can arrangements be made for those of the same graduating class being seated together?

Only if the registration is sent in together since the seating will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. So please gather your class early and book by table to enjoy better seating!


4. I have a group of 13 or 14 people and would like to be seated at the same table. How do I remark that in the Registration Form?

Mark on the form the total number of attendees and the Ticketing Department will try their best to accommodate your request. Yet, we do not guarantee such arrangements can be entertained.


5. Do I need to list the names of all attendees if I register by the table?

For the purpose of the WWR Directory compilation, please append a separate sheet of all the alumnae's contact details. Otherwise, it is up to your own coordination on the seating..


6. What time will the Gala Dinner start?

Reception and souvenir sale booths will be opened from 6 pm and dinner will start at 7:30 pm.


7. What is the Dinner menu?

It will be Chinese banquet style.


8. What is the beverage policy?

Cash bar service will be provided and corkage fee will be charged if BYOB.


9. Can I use credit card at the Souvenir Sale or Membership Enrollment during the reception?

Credit card facility is not available. Only cash or checks will be accepted.

1. What is the refund policy if I cannot attend after registration?

The fees paid will not be refunded and the proceeds from the program will be donated to the Maryknoll Sisters. If you wish to transfer your ticket to a friend, please send a note before Jan 22, 2010 to wwr@mcsfsa.com so that our records can be updated.


2. Can we arrange a school visit aside from the Official Program or arrange our own class reunion at the school?

3. I would like to meet some Sisters and teachers. How I can contact them?

Please send your request to wwr@mcsfsa.com before Jan 22, 2010 and we shall forward your request to the Sisters or teachers. Yet, we do not guarantee reply.


4. I am residing overseas but I have classmate living in HK. Can I ask her to pay the fees for me in HK Dollars to avoid the international bank transactions?

Yes, certainly. Book by the table and you would get better seating. It would also help our administration too.


5. Is the Worldwide Reunion Committee 2010 sponsoring any activities other than the reunion?

All official reunion activities will be on the 3-day program. Many classes will be organizing their individual reunion prior to and after the program. Please contact your class representative for information.
Some local tour packages are available for your consideration.


6. Are there any travel partners for the event?

You may find references of air and hotel packages for your consideration.


7. We would like to help out and donate to the reunion? What should we do?

Thank you in advance. Please complete the Sponsorship Form. All proceeds from the reunion will be given to support the Maryknoll Sisters.
